FEEDBACK FOR "FREDDIE" FEATURE FILM SCRIPT

Right off the bat, this script grabs us with its high octane action and dialogue that comes alive on the page. Toby and Freddie’s conversations throughout the story are peppered with so much memorable humor; their offbeat partnership really shines. The writer has a particular talent for dynamic dialogue that feels simultaneously unique and organic. The pacing - particularly in the first act - is also notably strong. The setup packs a big punch and we understand the urgency of Freddie’s situation almost immediately. We can tell that Freddie is a guy who is trying exactly as hard as he knows how to - even though it might not ever be enough.

The writer certainly has a fresh, original voice, which always goes a long way. The writer has great instincts and a fantastic ear for dialogue
